To use, rotate the inner dial (height measurement) and align the height measurement with the weight measurement as it appears on the outer scale. The dial in the viewing window will now display a BMI reading and show exactly where that reading falls within the range of underweight right through to very obese.

Alternatively, use the tape measure to get the same results. Choose from the male or female side of the tape (see symbols) making sure that the correct side is facing outwards. Then wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of the stomach.
